Project Leader

The University of Vigo is a Spanish institution founded in 1990 that offers a wide range of training on three specialized and innovative campuses. It is known for its focus on specialization, quality research, and training in various fields. With over 3,000 researchers, the university actively participates in numerous European research projects.
The University of Vigo was founded on deep positive values based on transparency, good management, integration, equality, diversity, and environmental respect. The university is committed to the social and economic environment, and the knowledge transfer to society is fundamental, putting consistent effort to ensure that research continuously reflects in social development.
In 2020, the University had 25 active Horizon Europe projects, 29 INTERREG projects, and seven projects from other European calls.
